Natural ground calcium carbonate from a pure, white Turkish calcite deposit. 99.4% CaCO₃, L* whiteness 98, D50 of 1.8 µm. Available uncoated, or stearic-acid coated for plastics and PVC. Other particle sizes are ground to order.

Uncoated, 1 µm
The standard grade on this page. For water-based paint, paper, sealants, rubber and general compounding where the filler must stay hydrophilic.
Stearic-acid coated, 1 µm
Same calcite, surface-treated with stearic acid. The hydrophobic coating disperses faster in polymer melts, lowers moisture pick-up and gives the finished plastic a water-repellent surface. The grade PVC, polyolefin and masterbatch producers ask for.
Other particle sizes
Coarser cuts (for example 3, 5, 10 or 20 µm D50) and custom top-cut limits are ground on request, coated or uncoated. Send us your target D50/D97 and we quote against volume.
Where it is used
- Architectural and industrial paint. Extender with high whiteness and low oil absorption; fine enough for semi-gloss systems.
- PVC pipe, profile and fittings. The coated grade for rigid PVC: better dispersion, higher loading, dry water-repellent surface.
- Plastics and masterbatch. Coated grade for PP and PE compounds, films and sheet; uncoated where the formulation already carries a dispersant.
- Wire and cable. Filler for PVC and halogen-free insulation and sheathing compounds.
- Rubber, sealants, adhesives. Reinforcing and volume filler.
- Paper. Filler and coating pigment.
